DENVER (AP) — Colorado's Democrat-led Senate debated the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, due process and public safety on Friday as it considered a bill that would allow weapons to be seized from people who are determined by a court to pose significant risk.
Two Senate votes approving the bill are needed before it is sent back to the House, which has already approved it, to consider Senate amendments.
