SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Despite a strong start, Oklahoma Baptist women's lacrosse fell, 17-9, on Thursday in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action against Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After taking a 3-2 lead in the first six minutes off goals from Brooke Harden, Taylor Skomp and Lauren McCormack, the OBU offense went cold. The Lady Bison were held scoreless for a 19-minute stretch that put OBU in a 12-4 hole before Skomp stopped the bleeding with a goal with 2:43 left on the clock.
