Ranger pitching lifts Northwestern, leads to sweep of Ouachita

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Northwestern Oklahoma State University baseball completed a sweep of Ouachita Baptist Saturday afternoon behind good pitching in a 4-1 victory in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

The duo of Matt Goetzen and Dillon Van Oosbree held the Tigers to just the single run on six hits. Goertzen got the start and the win in seven innings of work to move to 3-2 on the season. Van Oosbree earned his first save as a Ranger as he fanned three in two innings.

It was the fifth win in as many games this week for the Rangers, as well as the second sweep of a conference opponent this season. The Ranger...
