The Northwest District Garden Clubs of Oklahoma held their annual spring convention on March 16 at the Cherokee Strip Annex Building in Alva. The Petunia, Tulip and Delphinium clubs all had members in attendance. Linda Lawson, Oklahoma state president, and Jim Lawson, north central district president, also attended the meeting.
After the meeting was called to order, the group heard reports from the Northwest District President Linda McCoy; Petunia Club President and chair of the meeting Susie Koontz; Mary Long, Delphinium Club president; and Betty McMurphy, northwest district treasurer.
