Medicine Lodge attorney and bicyclist Robert Christiansen killed when hit by car

His out-of-state friend and co-bicyclist also killed Thursday evening on US Highway 160

 


“Our community is sad and shocked,” longtime Medicine Lodge attorney Allen Goering said. He was referring to the death of his colleague Robert “Bob” Christensen.

An attorney, Christiansen, age 64, was reportedly on his way back to Medicine Lodge on U.S. Highway 160 from a bike ride to Coldwater. His friend and bicycle enthusiast Thomas Foust, 56, of West Columbia, South Carolina, was riding with him. The accident was reported just after 7 p.m.
