RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Alfred Thomas has been named the Great American Conference Track Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Texas Relays this past weekend.

Thomas, a senior for the Hillcats, ran the fastest time in the South Central Region and the Great American Conference in the 100-meter dash as he posted a time of 10.51.

The Florence, Mississippi native earned himself a 28th place finish in a field of 105 mostly Division I runners. His time is the fourth fastest time in Rogers State program history.
