You know from football injuries that concussion often can’t be prevented even with a helmet.
The KTH Royal Research Institute in Stockholm claims that the blame for at least two-thirds of head injuries, whether football players, cyclists, skiers, or equestrians who hit their heads, do so at an angle. This is referred to as “rotational motion trauma,” similar to a Mike Tyson uppercut to the jaw.
