Muleriders salvage series with 7-2 win over Southern Nazarene in finale

 


BETHANY, Okla. – After dropping a pair of games via walk-off on Friday afternoon, the Southern Arkansas Mulerider Baseball team bounced back and salvaged its Great American Conference series with Southern Nazarene by earning a 7-2 win over the Crimson Storm in a game that was played at Putnam City High School and featured an hour-plus rain delay.

The Muleriders (22-13, 17-6) received seven innings of work on the hill from Parker Abrego (5-0) as the freshman allowed just three hits and two runs, while striking out six. Tanner Vaught worked the final two innings and surrendered just one hit.
