Business on the House floor this week continued to be a bit slower than normal since we are concentrating on moving Senate bills through the appropriate committees. Only when bills pass in committee are they eligible to be voted on by the entire House. The committee deadline for policy bills is April 11 and April 18 for appropriation and budget bills. Over the next few weeks, activity on the House Floor will greatly increase.
