Amber Wilhite, Desiree Gibson and Shane Parker were present for Cherokee's school board meeting Monday night. The three board members started by approving the consent agenda, including purchase orders, balances and warrants, and fund encumbrances and reports. This month's consent agenda included a couple of student trips for out of state travel – one for the third graders' trip to Wichita, and the other for FCCLA students' trip to Anaheim, California, in June. An acceptance of two resignations (Casey Klick and Tommy Hutson) was made under the consent agenda as well.
