RUNNING THE RED – A 50-year custom harvester, Jack McCreery is a native of Iowa. An educator before being a harvester, he and his wife Chelsea resided in Clearwater until a tornado destroyed their home in 1991, and they moved to Kiowa, Kansas. He always ran Massey-Ferguson combines before they closed and then switched to Internationals. Here he drives a Massey-Ferguson 760 combine, owned by Mick Gillig of Kiowa, during the Harvest Brigade themed Kiowa Pioneer Days Parade.

EVERYONE WAS JUST THRILLED TO HAVE A CAB BACK THEN – This John Deere 105 combine is about a 1962 or '63 model and is owned by Steve Eck of Sharon, Kansas. Brian Nielsen of Kiowa, Kansas, drives it in Kiowa's Pioneers Day Parade.
