A Woods County student, Cathy Mapes, was honored with the Charles & Magda Browning Outstanding Freshman Scholarship by Oklahoma State University at the recent College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarships and Awards Banquet. Mapes is shown receiving her scholarship from Ellie Nguyen, assistant professor in CASNR. The scholarship is part of $1.7 million in total scholarships students received for the 2019-2020 academic year from the college and its academic departments.
