The April 2 meeting was opened by President Carolyn Demaree with 21 members present and guests Sally Nighswonger and Carmen Eichen. Mary Ann Crow was hostess of this meeting.

The program was presented by Nighswonger on the technique of doing “Stack the Deck” cutting. This technique makes some unique pieces. She also shared a couple of quilts she has made using this pattern.

During the meeting several small projects were discussed. Drue Washburn presented blocks for the Quilt of Valor project. Dee Mason was the winner of a drawing for the Challenge Block contest and new fat quarters were passed...
