SEARCY – The 33rd-ranked Harding women's tennis team suffered an 4-3 upset loss to Oklahoma Baptist Friday at the HU Tennis Courts.
Harding fell to 12-5 overall and 2-2 in the Great American Conference, while Oklahoma Baptist improved to 7-11 overall and 3-1 in conference.
Harding won the doubles point with victories by 28th-ranked Rylie Cox and Arisa Takanashi at No. 1 and Allison and Emily Carpenter at No. 3. Cox and Takanashi improved to 12-4 with the victory, and the Carpenter sisters won their team-best 14th doubles match.
