A concerned citizen alerted law enforcement to a woman smelling of alcohol who was driving with small children in the car. Alfalfa County Deputy Loren Nusser responded to the call about 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8. According to court documents, the citizen reported talking to a woman in the Jiffy Trip parking lot and said she smelled heavily of alcohol. The citizen said there were two children including an infant in the backseat of the grey Jeep Cherokee which headed south on Highway 8.
