HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — All five Golden Suns finished within the top ten as Arkansas Tech nabbed its fifth straight Great American Conference championship Tuesday with a card of 885 (+21).
The Suns were trailing Southwestern Oklahoma State by four strokes heading into the final round. Tech ended up defeating Southwestern Oklahoma by a stunning 13 strokes thanks to a monster third round in which the Suns were even with par.
