OKLAHOMA CITY (April 17, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian thrower Maia Zeno was named Wednesday as the Great American Conference's women's field athlete of the week.

Zeno, a senior from Heath, Texas, shined for the Eagles during Wichita State's K.T. Woodman Classic on Saturday in Wichita, Kan. Zeno finished second among 31 throwers in the hammer with a mark of 157 feet, 10 inches (48.12 meters), the second-best throw of her career. She beat six throwers from NCAA Division I schools.
