KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma man has been charged with killing his girlfriend then dismembering and burning her body.
Court records show 62-year-old Steven Stricker of Kingfisher is charged with first-degree murder and desecration of a body in the death of 56-year-old Barbara Bader.
Stricker pleaded not guilty during his initial court appearance Wednesday.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Bader was reported missing April 4 by her sister.
The OSBI says Stricker later acknowledged that Bader was dead and her body had been dismembered and burned.
