RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Northwestern Oklahoma State University baseball redshirt senior Johnnuelle Ponce was named Great American Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday morning
The honor for Ponce comes following a blow-out weekend in a 2-1 series win over East Central. Ponce earned a .412 average (7-for-17) during the series, with 23 total bases and 12 RBIs.
The Puerto Rican launched five home runs during the week, with three in the first game of the doubleheader Monday afternoon. The Ranger centerfielder is only the tenth player in program history to hit three home runs...
