South Barber receives Kansas Challenge Award for elementary and 7-12 sites

The South Barber School District USD255 in Kiowa, Kansas learned they are the only school district in Kansas to receive the Kansas Challenge Award for both school sites (elementary and 7-12). This is for performing in the top three percent among Kansas schools on state assessments.
Jim McNiece, representative from the Kansas Association of School Boards of District 10, came to Kiowa and spoke at an all-school presentation where he shared the good news with everyone. Former South Barber Superintendent Dr. Andi Williams attended to celebrate as much of this was accomplished on her watch.
