Sunday, April 21, was the Resurrection Sunday Celebration at the Freedom United Methodist Church. The order of services was:

Bible Study is Thursday at 6:30 p.m. We are studying about Apostle Peter

Invocation by Pastor Todd Finley

Call to Worship: Psalm 46 led by Shirley Wagner

Opening hymn: “The Old Rugged Cross,” led by Debra Brown

Affirmation: from First Corinthians 15:1-6 and Colossians 1:15-20

Scripture: Mark 16:5-7 – As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus from Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, “He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.”

Services at Freedom UMC: Sunday school starts at 10 a.m., Sunday service at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Please join us as we worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
