During this day there were four traffic stops, three controlled burns and two civil papers served.
9:10 a.m. – Caller advised of a copperhead snake stuck to a sticky trap under her stove. Officer captured the creature and everything was okay.
12:32 p.m. – Report of a reckless semi driver driving north towards Cherokee. Stated the semi had been all over the highway, into oncoming traffic. Officer stopped the semi at Harmon and Grand. Called for a K9 to come. The K9 had no hits and Officer advised driver was okay.
