ATU Softball: Riley named GAC Freshman of the Week

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Tech freshman second baseman/designated player Tymber Riley was honored as Freshman of the Week by the Great American Conference, the league office announced Monday.
Riley has turned in an impressive season in her first year as a Golden Sun. In the Suns' sweep of Ouachita last weekend, Riley went 6-11 with two home runs and notched four RBIs. Riley has the highest batting average on the team, batting a .439 on the year, and has sent a team-best 11 balls over the outfield fence this season. Riley was previously named GAC Player of the Week on March 25.
