Donald R. Rucker, 79, of Sharon, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital, Medicine Lodge, Kansas.

He was born on October 14, 1939, in Forest City, Kansas, the son of the late Lee Rucker and Ruby Ruth (Martin) Rucker. On May 30, 1959, he married Barbara (Rose) Rucker in Alva, Oklahoma. She survives.

Donald worked for 13 years at National Gypsum before becoming a full-time farmer/rancher. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge.
