Last week the Newsgram reported that The Kiowa News closed after 126 years in operation. Since that announcement the situation changed significantly. Kevin Noland and his wife, Ronda, are longtime owners of The Gyp Hill Premiere in Medicine Lodge while Zimmerman and his wife Diann have owned The Kiowa News for 40 years. The couples negotiated and Noland said The Gyp Hill Premiere will now cover the Kiowa community as well as all of Barber County. Monday The Gyp Hill Premiere was delivered to a few public locations in Kiowa. The publication featured the high school seniors from both communities...
