Golf: Eagles still tied for lead in Super Regional as play suspended

 


AMARILLO, Texas (May 7, 2019) – Lightning and thunderstorms near Amarillo Country Club prematurely ended Oklahoma Christian's afternoon on Tuesday in the NCAA Division II West Super Regional, but until then, the Eagles kept cruising atop the leaderboard.

With one OC player finished with her round and four others having played at least 15 holes, the 18th-ranked Eagles were at 26-over-par for the tournament, tied for the lead with No. 2 Dallas Baptist (Texas). DBU's players had completed between 11 and 14 holes.
