Bird receives scholarships to Northwestern

Liberty Bird, a graduate of Alva High School, has been awarded four scholarships to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Bird will receive the Freshman Academic Scholarship, the Valedictorian Scholarship, the Second Runner-Up Cinderella Contestant Scholarship and the Ranger Preview Scholarship.
The Freshman Academic Scholarship requires recipients to have an ACT score of 21-25 and a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
