Southwest Baptist Defeats Harding Men's Tennis 4-0 in NCAA Tournament

 


BOLIVAR, Mo. – Harding men's tennis, ranked 38th nationally, had its season end Saturday with a 4-0 loss to 12th-ranked Southwest Baptist at the NCAA Men's Tennis Central Regional Final.

Harding, the No. 4 seed in the regional and making its first regional appearance since 2010, finished with a 13-8 record.

Southwest Baptist (18-2), the No. 1 seed, advanced to the NCAA Division II Tennis Championship round of 16 next week near Orlando, Florida.

Southwest Baptist won the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3, both by 6-2 scores.
