Cherokee residents charged with child abuse

 


Two people from Cherokee are facing multiple felony charges. The woman is charged with allegedly providing three underage girls with alcohol and marijuana. The man is facing three counts of child sexual abuse.

Court records show Cherokee Assistant Chief of Police Mike Andrews contacted District Attorney’s Investigator Steve Tanio on May 10 at 3 a.m. Andrews said a 12-year-old child and witnesses were reporting the child had been sexually assaulted by Anthony Cochran at a residence in Cherokee.
