Heritage Center Players to present comedy 'Dearly Departed'

Performances Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m.

 

The cast of Heritage Players "Dearly Departed" is: Jack Wortman, Lois Wortman, Don Vick, Linda T. Vick, Timothy Morford, Lexi Cunningham, Dana McKinney, Tim Wortman, Morgan Black, Steve Garten, Barbara Hagood, John Hagood, and Eileen Schmidt.

Matt Thom again sits in the director's chair to bring you a comedy by the Heritage Center Players in Medicine Lodge this weekend. Performances of the comedy play "Dearly Departed" are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and a matinee Sunday at 2 p.m., at the Heritaqge Center.

Thom said the cast features new faces and seasoned veterans to Heritage – all of whom are working hard for opening night.

"Our performances are guaranteed to bring you a hilarious evening of entertainment, Thom said.

Describing "Deeply Departed," Thom said, "Our story is about a dysfunctional southern family who comes together to bid a funny but heartwarming farewell to their patriarch Bud Turpin. This cast of characters from our community will put a smile on your face with heartfelt hilarity."

The Heritage production will only take a couple of hours from your schedule with a popcorn intermission. The cast and crew includes in performance order with many new faces: Jack Wortman, Lois Wortman, Don Vick, Linda T. Vick, Timothy Morford, Lexi Cunningham, Dana McKinney, Tim Wortman, Morgan Black, Steve Garten, Barbara Hagood, John Hagood, and Eileen Schmidt. The show is directed by Matt C. Thom. With technical support from Mike and Amy Sill.


This Heritage production is about two hours with a popcorn intermission. Tickets are available at the door.
