Golf: ATU's KLEMM, PIDDON RECEIVE NATIONAL AWARDS

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Arkansas Tech's Jacqueline Klemm was named WGCA Division II Freshman of the Year and Peerada Piddon was named WGCA Division II First Team All-American, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced Thursday. Klemm is the first golfer in program history to receive National Freshman of the Year.
Meanwhile, Piddon is All-American for the second year in a row; however, this is first time on the First Team, as she was named Honorable Mention last season. She is one of only two golfers in program history to receive the honor.
