Alva FFA member earns Diversified Livestock Production State Proficiency Award

Cooper Sneary of the Alva FFA chapter earned first-place honors in the 2019 Oklahoma FFA Diversified Livestock Production Proficiency Award area during the 93rd Oklahoma FFA Convention on May 1.

Kimberly Boyer of the Tuttle FFA chapter and Lauren Beames of the Howe FFA chapter earned second- and third-place honors, respectively.

Sneary's diversified livestock production supervised agricultural experience includes owning and operating his own beef cattle, goat and sow operations. Sneary said he also works on his family farm where he assists with the farm ground, native pasture and cattle.
