Woods County 4-H members participate in speaking contest

Three Woods County 4-H members participated in the fifth annual "Be the BEST in Oklahoma 4-H Public Speaking Contest" on Saturday, May 11, at Stillwater Middle School.

Austin Rankin from the Waynoka 4-H Club placed first with his senior extemporaneous speech about his most memorable 4-H experience and how it has affected him. Rankin also placed third in the PowerPoint division with "Oh the Shotguns You Will See in 4-H Shooting Sports."

Kase Martin from the Alva 4-H Club placed fifth in the Junior Speech competition with "Wilderness Survival."

Katelee Martin from the Alva 4-H Club placed third...
