OBU Stays Alive, Elimination Game Suspended

 


SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After a three-hour rain delay the Oklahoma Baptist baseball team began its two-game day with a game against Minnesota State. OBU fell behind 5-0, but the Bison rallied to win 8-5 and continue its NCAA Regional run.

With the win, OBU advanced to face fifth-seeded Arkansas-Monticello in an elimination game with the winner advancing to the championship series against top-seeded Augustana. With the contest beginning at nearly 10 p.m., play was ultimately suspended after four hours of play with the Bison leading 17-10 in the eighth inning. The game is scheduled to resume at 1 p....
