South Barber students qualify for state track at Wichita Friday

South Barber's track team contended at regional competition last week. The following students qualified for the state competition at Wichita State University this Friday and Saturday.
Senior and now 2019 graduate Cole Coggins is a state qualifier in three events: the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes. In the 100 he won first place with a time of 10.97. In the 200 he took third with a time of 24:07. In the 400 he was second place with a time of 52:30.
Freshman Grace Cantrell qualified for state in two events: the 800 meter run and 4x800 relay. In the 800 meter run she was fourth with a time of 2:35...
