Miss Northwestern titlists to compete in Miss Oklahoma Competition

 


Miss Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alysson Stewart, a Burlington senior, and Miss Northwestern’s Outstanding Teen Autumn Hudgins of Midwest City will compete in the Miss Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen competitions in Tulsa the first full week in June.

The River Spirit Casino Resort in the Paradise Cove Event Center is where the competitions will be held June 4-8. Forty-five women from across the state will compete in swimsuit, evening gown and extensive interviews highlighting the platform they will represent throughout the duration of their title.

Stewart will be contestant No. 21 in the Omega group. Her interview will be on Monday, June 3, and she will perform her talent on June 4. Her on-stage question will be on June 5, and the swimsuit and evening wear competitions will be June 6. Stewart’s talent is a vocal performance titled “Gravity.” Her platform is Healthy Bodies, Happy Minds. The final competition and crowning of Miss Oklahoma will be at 7:30 p.m. on June 8.

Hudgins is in the Alpha group and will complete her interview on Wednesday; active wear, on-stage question and evening wear on Thursday; and talent on Friday during preliminaries. Hudgins’ talent is a tap dance performance to the song “Fire Under My Feet.” Her platform is Serving with HeART. The final competition and crowning of Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen will be at 7:30 p.m. on June 7.
