More charges have been filed against two Cherokee residents in a child abuse case from earlier this month.

Anthony Brian Cochran, 34, and Lindsey Juanell Lyons, 29, were charged with several felonies in cases filed May 10 in Alfalfa County. District Attorney’s Investigator Steve Tanio was notified at 3 a.m. on May 10 about a reported sexual assault involving three 12-year-old girls. According to court affidavits, Tanio talked to the girls who said they were provided with vodka and marijuana at the residence of Lyons with her boyfriend Cochran and her two-year-old son present.
