String of storms brings flooding to Freedom area

The normally shallow water flow of the Cimarron River at Freedom reached just above flood stage this week. This view is looking east from the bridge at Freedom.

Bridge construction at Anderson Creek, a mile east of Camp Houston, required a bypass road. Sunday US64 was closed due to the flooding.
