Freedom track teams receive special honors at banquet

The Freedom High School Track Team members were recognized for their hard work and dedication at the May 3 Sports and Academic Banquet. Each were given a certificate of accomplishment. Three members – Kristopher Fargo, Summer Ralston and Kim DoHyun – competed at the regional track meet. Kristopher Fargo went to the State Track meet and finished ninth in pole vault and twelfth in high jump.
The cross country team members were also recognized for team and individual achievements. Madison Rhodes was recognized as the most dedicated runner and was given the Runner of the Year award. Dreama Jones was recognized as Most Improved Female Runner and Kim DoHyun was recognized as the Most Improved Male Runner.
