Freedom's girls basketball team members honored at banquet

Coach Tepe presents Summer Ralston with several awards, including being the 2018-19 MVP with the best free throw and three-point percentage, and Vype Magazine's First Team Award.

Special awards were given out to members of the Freedom High School girls basketball team at Freedom's Sports and Academic Banquet held May 3.

Summer Ralston was recognized for being the 2018-19 MVP with the best free throw and three-point percentage, and for receiving Vype Magazine's First Team Award. Ariana White received the Offensive Player of the Year and Miss Hustle awards. TamLynn Link was recognized as Most Improved Player.

Emily Reed received the Defensive Player of the Year award. Linsy Weber was recognized as the player with the most rebounds and most blocks. Jaci Weber received the Sixth Man of the Year award.
