With the end of the legislative session officially here, it’s time to take a look back at what we accomplished during our whirlwind four months at the state Capitol.

We started the session with 1,193 House bills and 32 House joint resolutions and 1,040 Senate bills and 21 Senate joint resolutions filed. By the final day the governor had to sign bills before they become law, Gov. Stitt had signed 517 measures sent to him, vetoed 16 and he let two bills become law without his signature. So, we started with over 2,230 bills and ended up with 519 becoming law over the course of the session. Still,...
