Routine meeting for Alfalfa County officials

Some basic housekeeping items were all that filled the commissioner's agenda at their regularly scheduled meeting

Monday morning in Alfalfa County. The three officials began with the usual tasks

of signing off on warrants for

payment, purchase orders, expenditures and appropriations. District 3 had the single $500 road crossing permit for the

week. After approving the allocation for the alcohol beverage tax, commissioners moved on to change order

No. 1 on bid No. 19-6 (a safe room for District 3) for a $5,750 building addition. They then signed off on the transfer of

$427.95 from the Cash-SJ-2 Hospital account to those of the nine Alfalfa County rescue departments (the money it to be split between them).

Another transfer was approved this time from the F-1C county clerk travel fund ($1,500) and the F-2A county clerk

maintenance and operation fund ($6,000). The transfer will be made to an account (F3) for a new copy machine. The

current machine in the county clerk's office has been malfunctioning and the part it needs is estimated to cost $2,500.

The last two agenda items consisted of approving the contract for the State of Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs

Detention Transportation for FY 2020 and the applications for emergency watershed programs (needed for District 2).

With no unforeseen business, the meeting adjourned
