Woods County commissioners renew contracts, approve appropriations

At Monday's regular meeting, Woods County commissioners approved minutes of previous meetings, monthly appropriations, and the monthly reports from the assessor’s office, health department, treasurer’s office and election board. The report from the county clerk was not ready for the commissioners to review.
Present were commissioners John Smiley, David Hamil and Randy McMurphy, as well as County Clerk Shelley Reed.
Also approved were:
• Payment of ACCO-SIF (worker's compensation) for fiscal year 2019-20.
• Contract between OJA and Woods County for the 2019-20 fiscal year for personnel services at $12 per hour, mileage reimbursement for each mile actually traveled at the rate established in State Travel Reimbursement Act, meals not to exceed $6 for transporting personnel and for juveniles being transported.
• Contract with the Sac & Fox National Juvenile Detention Center for Detention Services for fiscal year 2020 in the amount of $23 a day per child.
