Cherokee man sought on domestic assault charges

 


A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Edward Quixote Jones, 37, of Cherokee. Jones is wanted by Alfalfa County on charges of domestic assault and battery by strangulation and domestic abuse – prior pattern of physical abuse. The first felony count is punishable by not less than three years nor more than 10 years imprisonment or by a fine of $20,000, or both. The second is punishable by imprisonment for not more than 10 years or by a fine not exceeding $5,000, or by both fine and imprisonment.
