An Alfalfa County woman ended up with eight staples to close a head wound after an alleged fight with her husband, who now faces numerous charges.

Michael Wayne Srader, 41, of Cleo Springs, is facing two felony counts: (1) domestic assault and battery by strangulation and (2) aggravated assault and battery. The first is punishable by not less than one year or more than three years in prison, or by a fine of $3,000, or both. The second is punishable by up to five years in the penitentiary or up to one year in county jail or by up to $500 fine or both.
