Son faces murder complaints in parents' deaths in Oklahoma

 


STROUD, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says murder complaints have been filed against a 39-year-old man in the slayings of his parents in their central Oklahoma home.

Authorities say two counts of first-degree murder were filed Wednesday against Shawn Pittman in the deaths of 65-year-old Mark Pittman and 63-year-old Pauletta Pittman. Formal charges have not been filed.

The OSBI says a double homicide investigation was launched Tuesday after officers discovered the bodies in their home in Stroud, about 50 miles (84 kilometers) northeast of Oklahoma City. Authorities des...
