Fruits and fish are abundant at the Great Salt Plains State Park, according to park staff. All the rain in May and June have resulted in verdant plant life a lake in which "the fish are really biting." Trees are full of fruit, and sand plum thickets, like the one shown here, are having a bumper crop this year.
