Alva Masonic Lodge #105 recently presented the Cherokee Museum with a check for $8,400. This check represented proceeds from the recent Talking Tombstone Tour put on by the museum. The museum realized $4,200, which was matched by the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, resulting in $8,400 for the total amount. The Masonic Lodge in Alva was organized in 1898 and is still meeting and helping with various needs in the Alva community.
