Kansas man injured in motorcycle wreck

 


A Kansas man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle on a gravel road in Alfalfa County. The wreck occurred at 1:50 p.m. on Garvin Road, 220 feet west of County Road 640, approximately two miles south and three miles west of Cherokee.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Jay Dale Hardin, 52, of Derby, Kansas, was riding a 2008 Suzuki 650 motorcycle eastbound on Garvin Road when he lost control on the gravel. The motorcycle overturned and left the roadway on the right.
