Funeral services for Mackey Vernon Payton will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Ruggia and Rev. Chuck Lightfoot officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Mackey Vernon Payton, son of the late William and Caltha Jessetine (Hopkins) Payton, was born January 6, 1926, in Farris, Oklahoma, and passed away July 19, 2019, at Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 13 days.
